How To Tweet

Below are a couple of quick tips on how to tweet your signal report:

  1. Include the hashtag #vodafonesignal
  2. Include your location in one of the following ways;
    • use the full postcode if you know it,
    • use the street and town name in "quotes" - for example "High Street, Newbury",
    • or geotag your tweet if your Twitter client allows you to.
  3. Tell us how many signal bars you have; 1 bar to 5 bars, or 0 bars if you can't get a signal.
  4. Include the type of data connection you get;
    • GPRS - sometimes shown as a letter G or a circle,
    • EDGE - sometimes shown as a letter E,
    • 3G,
    • 3G+ or HSDPA - sometimes shown as a letter H,
    • or use NO DATA if you can't get a data signal.
  5. Include whether you're INDOORS or OUTDOORS when sending us the report so we can narrow down your exact location.
  6. We'd also be interested to know what make and model of phone you're using so please add this on to the end of your tweet, along with any additional comments.

For example, if you in a building on Church Road in Newbury, and were receiving 5 bars of signal and a 3G connection on your iPhone, you could tweet:
